Six Days Training, Ramechhap
Six days training on mental health and psychosocial well-being and support has begun from November 22, 2019 at headquarter of Ramechhap district; Manthali. The training will last until November 29, 2019. All together there are 12 participants with includes Medical Officers (M.O) and Health Assistants (H.A) among which 8 are from Manthali municipality, 3 from Khadadevi rural municipality, and 1 from Umakunda rural municipality. During the opening ceremony, the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality, Maya Karki, Chief Administrative Officer, Hemanta Budathoki, health coordinator, Kesav Raj Phuyal and journalist Navaraj Pathik shared their view and wished for the success of the training program.
The training is based on mhGAP module two (NHTC Training Manual). The program is being facilitated by psychiatrist and psychologist, and conducted by Pandav Parsai, district coordinator, TPO Nepal. The program is supported by Americares, coordinated by TPO Nepal under the project MHIRa and organized by Manthali municipality, Khadadevi rural municipality and Umakunda rural municipality.
