TPO Nepal’s 16th Anniversary
Transcultural Psychosocial Organization Nepal (TPO Nepal) celebrated its 16th anniversary on 6 June, 2021 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. It was established in 2005 with the aim of promoting psychosocial well-being and mental health of children and families in conflict-affected and other vulnerable communities. With time, TPO Nepal has kept on striding and inspiring on its mission of preventing mental health and psychosocial problems, promoting mental health and psychosocial wellbeing and provision of curative services to the vulnerable population in Nepal.
On the occasion of its 16th anniversary, a small celebration was organized in the premises of TPO Nepal. During the program, Dr. Mita Rana, Chairperson of TPO Nepal wished everyone success in the coming days and urged them to be committed towards the common goal of promoting psychosocial wellbeing of Nepal. She also thanked the staff for their tireless contributions to the organization despite the uncertain times of the pandemic. After this, Dr. Kamal Gautam, Executive Manager of TPO Nepal, expressed his best wishes to the staff, management committee, and well-wishers on the occasion of the organization’s anniversary. He also wished for the prosperity of the organization for many more years to come. A cake cutting ceremony was held at the end to mark the day.
