Prof. Shishir Subba, PhD

Prof. Shishir Subba is currently working as Professor at Central Department of Psychology, Tribhuvan University (T.U.). He completed Masters in Clinical Psychology from Tribhuvan University and PhD in Psychology from Copenhagen University, Denmark. He is the chairperson of Counseling Psychology subject committee and Coordinator of Masters in Counseling Psychology (MCP) program at T.U. Before this, he was Assistant Dean, Head of Department at Central Department of Psychology, and member of PhD research committee at T.U. He is also the past President of Nepalese Psychology Association.

Prof. Subba is a member of subject committee of Psychology, Social work, Tourism, Sports science, Film studies and also member of Peace, conflict and development studies working committee at TU. He has already published four books related to different fields of psychology within and outside Nepal. He was a visiting professor at University of Ruhuna, Srilanka from 2010 to 2013.
