Ms. Parbati Shrestha, currently working as Project Coordinator at TPO Nepal, has a Masters in Anthropology degree. She has been in the field of psychosocial since 2005, after receiving the six-month psychosocial counseling training. She has contributed to the psychosocial support of people who have been through emergency situations, refugees, children affected by violence/conflict, verified minors, and late recruits and has also supported in establishing the national suicide prevention helpline-1166. She was a fellow of McGill University Summer course in Social and Cultural Psychiatry in Canada, Child Protection and Psychosocial Training at Israel, and Training on Emergency Psychosocial Support at American University of Cairo, Egypt.

She is the fellow of Implementation Science 2019 in the Essence Project. She has prepared the SOP guideline for TPO helpline, Suicide prevention guideline for counselors, and and the Psychological First Aid (PFA) and psychosocial guide for protection cluster..
