Two days training was conducted on ‘Research Uptake’ by Emerald project on 25th and 26th May, 2017. The training was facilitated by Mr. Sudeep Uprety; Research Uptake and Communication Manager from Health Research and Social Development Forum (HERD Nepal). The main objective of the training was to enhance the use of research evidences in a wider group and to develop a research uptake strategy. Different concepts and practical approaches were discussed during the two days workshop for research uptake involving topics such as communicating research findings effectively, research uptake strands, stakeholder mapping, developing infographics, case study and policy briefs. The training was attended by a total number of 17 staffs from TPO Nepal and included a mixed group of researchers and those staffs involved in documentation and M & E with hands-on experience of research and documentation.
